Is my Paramount+ /Showtime grandfathered at the 9.99

No I did not call Apple. My feeling is this is more a Paramount decision not to offer the discounted bundle rather than Apple's. By the way the $20.98 breaks down to separate premium plans of Paramount+ $9.99 and Showtime $10.99

FWIW, Paramount offers a limited-time offer of a discounted premium bundle plan of Paramount+ and Showtime for $12.99 until Oct 2, 2022, $3.00 more than the former Apple channel bundle plan of $9.99 but much less than $20.98

The Channel version currently doesn’t have the bundle for new or returning subscribers. But Paramount+ now does offer the bundle for the separate apps. Contact Paramount+ for information on still active legacy channel bundle subscriptions, if you have that.

I just double-checked mine which, coincidentally, also renews on September 25, and it's listed at $9.99. Hopefully, your situation is the glitch.

I'm not at home near my ATV at present so I can't check. I'll try to remember to do so when I get home.

Just checked my Paramount +/Showtime subscription Apple TV channel, it will renew on Oct 9, at $20.98 instead of $9.99, not what I expected/wanted. Not sure what I will do about this yet.
