Log aggregated data not generating

I think I found out how to get the battery cycle count on iPhones in iOS 16:

-Follow the same steps you did previously to get to the 'log-aggregated' file, which no longer exists in iOS 16

-Look for the 'Analytics' log instead, which now has the battery cycle info

-Copy the contents of that file and post them in Notes (same as you did with the 'log-aggregated' file)

-Using 'Find' in Notes, search for "Last_Value_CycleCount" (including the quotes, to avoid partial matches)

-You'll find two occurrences (at least that's what I found in my case), each showing the (same) number of battery cycles

It’s no longer generating this file

Could gather battery cycles and battery temperature using shortcuts through analytics

Can still get info but have to plug in and use a PC program, i use 3UTools, so the info is still there somewhere

apparently current iOS system is not generating it anymore… but, as someone said in the comments , found something in the “analytics”.

Just copy it all in your notes and search for “last_value_CycleCount” and there it is. Worked on my iPhone and iPad. Hope works with yours too.

Apple replaced “log-aggregated” with “analytic” logs. There are updated shortcuts that show battery health for these files, but the shortcuts are very unstable, and unfinished.

This should help everyone. In iOS 16 they changed the log-aggregated to Analytics. They are the firs files. Hope this helps.

Instead of log analytics, check for Last file starting with file name Analytics and share it to the shortcuts mentioned in this page

I am also having this exact same issue on my iPhone X. I simply cannot find a single log. I like to look at it because I have a shortcut that would tell me the charge cycles on my phone. I use it on my iPads also, but the files don’t exist on my phone and share analytics has always been enabled across all my device. I make sure it’s on for this purpose. I don’t have a computer at all, so I can’t just plug it in and check from iTunes or something :/

I have the same problem. I used to check log aggregated data to extract battery charge cycles on my 11pro in iOS 15. The file doesn’t seem to exist in iOS 16. I, too, am seeking work-arounds.

Apple needs to fix this, I’m getting tired of this. iOS 16 is a failed release at this point with all the issues.

The same here. Since I’ve updated to iOS 16, log-aggregated is not found.

The one aspect of analytics data that was actually useful is gone, i see no benefit to sharing the data with Apple if they see fit to remove the one bit of useful information to consumers. I’ll save tiny bit of battery power used to upload logs to Apple.
