how to fix corrupted iphone backup

Hello,

I replaced my IPhone XS (IOS 15.3) at the Apple store with the same exact model wich i updated on IOS 16.

However, when i wanted to restore my backup from iTunes, it stops on the grounds that the backup would be corrupted.

I therefore followed the steps in the article (If you can't back up your iOS or iPadOS device to a computer or restore it from a backup - Apple Support) except to perform my restoration on another pc (I don't know if it is possible to move my old backup to another pc without risking damaging it)

I wanted to know if there is an additional solution to recover my data?

Thank you in advance for your return.

Hi iyad129,

The article Locate backups of your iPhone, iPad, and iPod touch outlines the steps to locate your backup files on a PC in the section "Copy backups to another location". Moving or copying your backup to another computer may not remedy this concern especially if the data is truly corrupted. You may use Get Support to isolate and troubleshoot this concern further directly with AppleCare support to see if any other options exist.

Alternatively, if you ever backed up to iCloud you can use those backups to restore your device following Restore your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch from a backup.

Regards.
