iPhone 8 plus upgraded to ISO 16, it is now stuck on apple screen, on/off.

Apples solution is to send it in for repair. Is there a way to downgrade without buying software, or a FIX for what is a software problem?

iOS 16.5.1 Bricked my iPhone 10xs max. I installed iOS 16.5.1 on my iPhone 10xs max and now the screen does not work. If I put into recovery mode I can see "computer" and "cable" logo, so the backlight and screen DO work. Also I noticed my phone still "functions" because I still get my text alert and if I call the phone it rings. I have tried a factory reset several times and I have tried to put it into DFU mode, but that is very difficult since the screen is ALWAYS black. I know it is not going into DFU mode because while I am holding the VOL down button I get the Apple logo, which means either my timing is off or it won't go into DFU mode. I also tried to time it using my iPhone 14 as a reference, but no luck. Any suggestions on tools or utilities to force a downgrade of the iOS?

How do I get my iPhone out of update mode? Plugged in my iphone 13 to my PC to transfer some pictures. Decided to update. It went through several minutes appearing to work and then said error/couldn't update. Now I can't do anything. Screen shows the Apple logo and a half way across horizontal line. Brand new iphone 15 wont reboot, force restart, OR enter recovery mode So i literally just got my Iphone 15 today. When i went to set it up, it asked me if i wanted to upgrade to iOS18.5. I accepted. It took well over an hour, and then it just shut off. When i tried to turn the phone back on, its stuck in this constant reboot loop with the “hello” screen. It wont let me put in my password. Wont let me restart, or force restart. It wont let me do anything. Ive tried plugging it into my computer. It wont let me put it into recover mode. Nothing! So i basically just have to let it be stuck on this glitchy reboot screen until it dies. Is there anything i can do? I feel like im just going to have to take it in to the apple store.

Don't downgrade. Instead, see this:
