Model a1893 iPad, fully charged, completely dead. I was using this morning while plugged into power cable, application froze and then the entire device went black. It is unresponsive to a forced reboot. Any suggestions?

As described, you iPad battery has completely failed. With a full battery failure, the iPad will not operate - even when connected to its power adapter.


You would be best advised to visit the Genius Bar at your local Apple Store or Apple Authorised Service Provider (AASP) - where the technicians will be able to assess your iPad - and you will be able to explore your available options:
