Does updating iOS automatically update all apps on iPhone 11? Automatic app updates are turned off.

The iOS update does not interact with 3rd party or Apple's applications , those you have to update yourself, either manually or by enabling automatic updates.

Auto update turned off in settings, but apps still auto update on iphone Hello, This is about the app store updates. I have moved to a new iphone 13 Pro, iOS 17.0.3. I always have all automatic updates switched off, for the app store too. But my new phone still performs all these updates in the background, without any popup. Automatic Updates iPhone 11 IOS 16 I have all of the settings set for automatic updates. However when I check App Store. I can 10-15 apps sitting there waiting for me to do manual updates. I’ve turned the settings off and back on. Restarted phone and nothing changes. Why it this happening? This has been happening for quite some time. Not just after I upgraded to IOS16

No. Updating iOS just updates the operating system.
