iMac hard drive broken.
Time machine backup on external hard drive. How can I get photos off of time machine to transfer to another computer or other storage device that I can access the photos?

You can use Migration Assistant (Applications - Utilities - Migration Assistant) to migrate from the Time Machine backup to another Mac. However MA is an all or nothing, meaning you cannot select just Photos or just MS Word documents, it's all or nothing.
