Since Safari is installed as part of the operating system you have whatever version is current for the installed OS. Safari cannot be individually installed.
Now you are describing a message which is bring sent by the site you wish to visit. Safari is known to have problems accessing some sites on some computers. If you in fact do have the latest version of Safari installed, I suggest using another browser such as Firefox on the problematic sites. It never seems to cause any access problems.
That’s correct. I have the current (latest) operating system. if i sign in to my financial website a message pops up indicating my BROWSER is out of date. I go to system preferences _ General and Safari is my browser. i click on that and go back to what i was doing and i get the Browser out of date message
