Night time always on watch face in RED please!

I like to have a always on watch face on my apple watch while I sleep so that I can just look at the time without having to use two hands to turn on the display just to check the time while I am in bed.

I used to use the modular watch face with only the time and in the color red to avoid blinding myself at night, but with watch OS 9 apple has removed the ability to change the color of the digits, only allowing you to change the color of the background for that watch face. Now all the watch faces are too bright to use since most of them use white letters.

The apple watch Ultra has the right idea with the full red night mode for it's new watch face, purposely built for being easy on the eyes at night, but the other model watches don't have this feature.

Am I the only person in the world that thinks the regular apple watches would benefit from full red always on watch face that's easy on the eyes at night too?

Does anyone have any watch face suggestions for a full red always on display? Third party watch face apps?

Apple, can you bring back the ability to have the font colors change for the modular watch face? And also change the blue icon for the sleep focus mode be red as well?

That will help lots!

Sincerely... sleepless in vancouver!

Absolute +1 on this item. I don't know how many faces with digital clocks previously allowed colours for the digits, but you're right that Modular allowed it. I've since looked through all of the watch face options, and the only "digital clock" faces that support changing digit colours are the oversized ones (Numerals, X-Large, etc) which are also not what we want for obvious reasons.

Furthermore there are sharply limited options for changing the hour and minute hand colours on all of the analogue options. It seems like Apple really wants at least some face elements to be glaring white. Which, fine, that's an aesthetic choice, it pops during the day, etc. But it's not just Ultra owners who want functional faces with muted colours for night use. (The Sleep Focus mode avoids brightness but deliberately isn't functional.)

I'm actually surprised that, as far as I can tell, this isn't a (minor) scandal among Watch aficionados. The Ultra introduces a cool new display mode just as Apple removes the ability of other watches to produce similar effects? Maybe the problem is that Watch fans are totally burnt out on complaining about watch face customizability.
