iphone13 not being recognized as an iphone

I recently switched from Android and purchased an iphone13 with ios 15.7. My phone recognizes all my contacts with iphones and allows me to facetime and message them with imessages. Their iphones do not recognize my phone as an iphone and facetime and imessages are not an option on my profile in their contact lists. They have deleted my contact info and recreated a new contact for me. I have MMS and group messages toggled. I have my Appleid and phone number toggled in facetime settings and messages settings. I have facetimed them and sent messages and still, their phones do not recognize my phone as iphone.

Congratulations on your new iPhone. We're happy to ease the transition in any way we can. Did you happen to go through these steps yet: If you can't send or receive messages on your iPhone or iPad - Apple Support

Check your iOS version
Go to: Settings > Cellular, and make sure that your phone number is on. Keep in mind, iIf you are using multiple SIMs, you'll need to make sure that the phone number you want to use is selected
Go to: Settings > Messages > Turn iMessage off and then back on
Tap the Send & Receive option
Choose the phone number you want to use with Messages

Follow additional steps if the issue continues.
