never gonna happen. iPhone 6 will never be able to update beyond iOS 12. That model is 8 years old and the hardware cannot support newer iOS versions, doesn't have enough memory etc
Do whatever you have to do. The iPhone 6 is an 8 year old phone. It was discontinued completely in 2016. It is not capable of running anything later than iOS 12.
The iPhone 6 can be updated as far as iOS 12.5.6, but that is the end of the road.
As Chris0107 has already mentioned, your iPhone 6 cannot be upgraded past iOS 12. Even Android phones will require updates which eventually will require getting a new Android phone model .. but good luck with that.
