apple TV won’t allow me to sign in. Keeps giving an error message

Thank you for using Apple Support Communities. We'd like to help you sort this issue out with your Apple TV. We can recommend some steps that should be able to sort this error. Follow these steps here:


1.) Force close the app you're using: Switch quickly between Apple TV apps - Apple Support

2.) Restart your Apple TV: Restart Apple TV - Apple Support

3.) Rest Apple TV using a different Wi-Fi network

4.) Update your Apple TV if possible: Update your Apple TV - Apple Support
