CityTV app activation code

Do any of the following:

• Press and hold both the Back  (second-generation Siri Remote) or  (first-generation Siri Remote) and TV   buttons on the Siri Remote until the Apple TV status light blinks rapidly.
• Disconnect Apple TV from the power outlet, wait five seconds, then reconnect it.
• Open Settings  on Apple TV, go to System and select Restart."

We understand that you cannot activate the Citytv app on your Apple TV. Is that correct? If so, we recommend the steps in this article: How to activate Citytv on Apple, Fire TV, Roku, Smart TVs

Once you click and open the link, please read through and complete the steps in the section titled "Apple TV."

Apple TV is one of the streaming devices that support the Citytv channel. If you would like to activate and stream Citytv on Apple TV:

1) Go to the Home screen on your Apple TV

2) Navigate to the Apps section and select App store

3) Search for the Citytv app and install it on your TV. Once done, go back to apps and launch the streaming service channel.

4) Click on one of the shows offered and click on the “Play” icon

5) Select your TV service provider from the list that pops up and log in using your username and password.

6) Once completed, an activation code will appear on your screen. Write it down for later use.

7) Visit citytv.com/activate on your computer or smartphone browser.

8) Enter the activation code above and follow the on-screen instructions

9) Once you have completed the activation, go back to your TV and start enjoying your favorite shows and programs.

The steps above will help you to activate the Citytv app on your Apple TV.
