Problem Preparing iPhone For Trade In

I am trying to prepare my iPhone for trade in. The instructions say to sign out of iTunes and App Store by going to Settings> My Name > Scroll > Sign Out

When I do that Sign Out is disabled and "Sign out is not available due to restrictions" is displayed.

Any thoughts?
