how do i send an invite by text to several people and only have me see the responses.. not annoying everyone in the group with multiple replies

Group texting sends messages to the entire group. Send a group text message on your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch - Apple Support
The only way currently to get one on one messages is singularly.
