Color Washed Out When Turn On HDR

I recently purchased the LG 38WN95C-W monitor with VESA Certified DisplayHDR 600 support. This monitor works fine with my Windows PC, as it can display HDR video and effects correctly.

However, when using macOS Monterey (Ver 12.6), the display has no issue displaying SDR content. When I turned on HDR in the display setting, the whole screen felt washed out, like being applied with a gray filter. The screen's color looks like it failed to map the color from SDR to HDR. It is worth mentioning that, when I play HDR content on Youtube with chrome, the video itself still has the correct color.

The temporary fix I have right now is:

Go to Windows using my PC with HDR enabled, connected to the monitor via Display Port.

Switch to macOS by changing monitor input to Thunderbolt

Awaken Mac by keyboard

By now, the color looks not washed out, but it still varies a little from the actual color, and no HDR option on YouTube with Chrome even though the video itself is HDR.

Then, go to setting -> display, disable and re-enable HDR, and the screen finally looks normal.

However, this process is really long and time consumed, and I have to do it again every time the display is off due to things like idle. So, I kindly want to ask the community, as well as the Apple official, if there is a fix to it. Really appreciated.
