File system and HDD support.

Hello!

Description:

Well, I have question that is related to my FileSystem and HDD. So, I am using exFAT file system on my HDD what has to be cross platform, but actually that is not so, because I can read and write (IO) files on Windows machine, but I cannot read and write (IO) them on MacOS or specifically on MacBook Pro.

Problem:

My problem is that my driver plug in / unplug in automatically after some period of time on MacOS or specifically on MacBook Pro, but everything is working on Win machine.

Question:

what can I do?

Image of my driver.

MacBook Pro 15″, macOS 12.5

Try to format the device on the Mac as exFAT (either MBR or GUID partition scheme) because some exFAT Allocation Unit Sizes do not work on a Mac. It seems 128 kB Allocation Unit Size should be used if exFAT is used on a Mac.
