The Astronomy Lock Screen showing the world centered on your location does not appear to be showing current and updated cloud cover. I’ve checked with other weather apps and websites which appear to consistent with each other. Surely it should update regularly?

If the Astronomy Lock screen doesn't appear to be accurate, we recommend starting by checking your settings as a possible cause.
First, tap Settings > Privacy & Security > Location Services > Astronomy. Try setting this to"While Using the App," and also make sure that "Precise Location" is on.
Next, tap Settings > General > Date & Time. Is "Set Automatically" on here?
Also, in Settings > General > Language & Region, make sure that your region is set correctly.
If that doesn't clear things up, contact Apple for support and service
