watch did not track my sleep stages last night

After tracking sleep stages for 2 nights after updates watch and phone to latest OS, for 2 nights it only showed time in bed, not the stages....does anyone know why??

Since you mentioned that it was working prior to updating, we want to just have you make sure you've installed the latest updates for both your iPhone and Apple Watch first, as this will make certain there's no conflict that could be occurring between the software versions. We see that you've already checked out "Track your sleep on Apple Watch and use Sleep on iPhone" and were unable to resolve the issue.


We recommend making certain your Apple Watch and iPhone are connected by following the steps to check the connection, via the link below.


If your Apple Watch isn't connected or paired with your iPhone


After updating, if your sleep focus is is enabled as it should be, and your Apple Watch has sufficient battery life, the device may need to gather initial data for a day. If the data doesn't show on the second night of sleep, we recommend reaching out to Apple Support directly.
