Accentuation in Magic Keyboard (pt-BR) not working after iOS 15.7 update

Hello everybody,

Since iOS 15.7 update, I began having issues with accentuation while typing with my Magic Keyboard. It has the Brazilian Portuguese layout, and generally I use it with Brazilian Portuguese settings.

When inputting a letter with diacritical marking (eg. â), normally one should type ^ + a and automatically it would become â.

However, since the last update, whenever I try it, it always get inputted this way:

’é

To be clearer, here is an example:

“As ‘árvores d~ão flores ef^êmeras.”

I tried changing to every Portuguese keyboard setting options, and to ABC too, and this problem keeps happening.

Has anybody seen that? If yes, is there any solution besides tapping the corrected suggestions on screen?

Thanks!

PS The Apple Portuguese magic keyboard looks like the picture below. Does yours also have this printing on the keys?

If so, the mapping which will match that, and should be checked (in settings > general > keyboard > hardware keyboard > tap over at right edge), is "Portuguese". "Brazilian" will not match. "Brazilian ABNT2" will match for making ^ and ~ accents, but differ in varous other places.

If you check ABC, then the way you get a-tilde ã is by typing option n, then a. Does that work properly?

I don't know of any Apple Magic keyboard called "Brazilian Portuguese", only "Portuguese". Could you clarify that by posting a picture of your keyboard?
