i broke my iphone 6 today which contained about 800 photos and videos. they are all backed up on icloud and i can access them on icloud.com. thankfully, i had another iphone 6 handy so i logged into it with my apple id and sim. however, it did not transfer my photos. how do i get them on this iphone from icloud?

If you can view them on iCloud.com they are synced via iCloud Photos. Turn on iCloud Photos on any other devices that are using the same Apple ID and they will sync. See: See instructions in Set up and use iCloud Photos - Apple Support
