Norton VPN Download on MacBook Pro (Retina, 15-inch, Mid 2015)

I have Norton Security installed and from the Norton website want to download Norton VPN to my PC. The window comes up with the yellow icon for VPN on the left and my applications folder on the right. It then hangs and I can either double click the VPN icon or the applications icon or both for the installer to appear. However NOW it has to be manually triggered in the download install file every time I restart my pc for it to work and come up with the VPN menu. It does not appear on the Norton security dashboard as a subscribed app. I don't want to have to trigger the application via the installer every time I use it. Any ideas? Thanks for your time!

Unless you are creating a point-to-point secure tunnel between you and your place of work or other organization, do not use a VPN. If you are creating a point-to-point tunnel, contact the network administrator at the end point to help you set up the tunnel using the organization's required configuration.
