Hello laina167,

Welcome to Apple Support Communities. Which device model, and OS version are you pairing your AirPods Pro with? Which firmware version is installed on your AirPods Pro?

To get started, please follow these steps to update your AirPods Pro:

1- Make sure the AirPods are within Bluetooth range of their companion iOS, iPadOS, or macOS device.

2-Next, listen to music or other audio content with the AirPods for at least 30 seconds.

3-Then, Put the AirPods back in the Charging Case and close the lid.

4-Lastly, Use the Lightning cable to connect the Charging Case to power.

5- Wait 30 minutes.

6-Then reconnect the AirPods to the iOS, iPadOS, or macOS device that they are paired to.
