The "new" update for the iPhone 5s is iOS 12.5.6.

If you already have this installed, that is as far as the iPhone 5s can go. There are no more updates for that model. You cannot install iOS 15.7 or iOS 16.

If you’re trying to update the iPhone 5s to iOS 16, you can’t. Only iPhone models 8 and up can.
