ATV-ui92 error on Apple TV 3

Apple TV 3 returns  error ATV-ui92 when trying to log on to Netflix. All offered tricks (reset of Apple TV and Netflix pw, time zone change to manual) do not seem to work. Netflix helpdesk tells me to turn to Apple. Any ideas? have tried to update my e-mail, even change e-mail to another e-mail, I still get the same error, it´s now on both my Apple TV 3, one did work a few days more than the other. Can I throw both my Apple Tv 3 out?

Somehow found a solution here.

I’ve tried

  • factory reset
  • change password

and they didn’t work.

I saw a post that the country where I created the account and the region setting should match. Since my account was made in Canada and apple tv region was set to United States, I changed the region to Canada but didn’t work. But after that I ‘restart’ed apple tv from the settings and it worked! I would recommend everyone here to restart apple tv after matching the region.

I have a solution that worked for me.

  1. After create an acount in netflix you are going to receive some e-mails.
  2. Before trying to logon in Apple TV, you need to confirm your cell phone in the e-mail sent by Netflix.
  3. Then you will receive another e-mail from Netflix with 6 numbes code, you need to use this code to finish the changing in your Netflix acount.
  4. After that you are goig to logon Netflix in AppleTV.

Same issue here in Singapore, happened at about the same date (late September) on my apple tv 3 (AND on my LG smart Tv too strangely).

I tried:

  • factory resest
  • change AppleTV time to manual/singapore and automatic
  • change netflix email account to the same one.

none worked. Netflix still works on my other devices,

I'm on Model A1469 with software version 7.9, using ethernet connection

I actually meant, that beside Netflix, I’m not able to login to my Apple ID.

In the meantime, I (desperately) tried resetting the Apple TV, but I am even further from a solution now, because the Apple TV only sporadically recognizes the BlueTooth of my iPhone as remote :|

The software remote on iPhone works over Wi-Fi, not bluetooth. Verify that the iPhone connects to the same home network, and if the Apple TV also connects over Wi-Fi, that both use the same SSID network name.
