iPhone 14 Pro Battery Draining Fast

On my way to return this iphone 14 pro because of this horrible battery life. I was excited to use this phone. But this battery life gave me whole new disappointment. My Iphone 13 pro max battery lasted 2 days at least.

Are you fully updated to iOS 16.6?

Last night when I went to sleep, my 14 Pro was fully charged. When I woke up it was at 32%. What the heck is going on.

Unless you turn the phone off, it's still doing things. Without knowing more about what was using the battery overnight and what your cellular signal was like, your question is impossible to answer.

Best practice is to plug your phone in at night before you go to bed.

Given the plethora of complaints regarding the 14 it’s beyond OBVIOUS that your good luck with the phone is a fluke. This is truly the WORST battery life I’ve ever experienced. I did far less than you do today and my battery drained out and I had to use a battery pack to recharge it…it’s already down to TWENTY FIVE PERCENT!!!! It was unplugged at 7am and it is now 6pm. Two charges in 11 hours!!! That’s crap. Oh…and my phone is only 3 WEEKS OLD!!!

For the last 2 nights my battery has drained from 60% to 0% overnight! I’ve only had my 14 pro max for 4 months. Could someone please help?

There are certainly reasons that could happen. But my first question is, why aren't you charging your phone overnight?

on a 14 pro max, the battery should be enough when you go to sleep with 60% to have another day of use.

So the real question is : how is it possible that his phone go from 60 to 0 while he doesn 't use it.

Apple needs to take responsability and answer questions ASAP.

I've already decided to not buy iphone 15 pro. My iphone 11 pro has a better battery life than all yours iphone 14 pro max, what the **** is going on at Apple ? Are we really supposed to pay 1500euros for a phone that doesn't last long, even when you don't use it, plus battery is degrading ultra fast ?

I just had the exact same thing happening with my iPhone 14 Pro two weeks ago. I went to the Apple store and they ran a diagnostic on it. They found two things:

The always on display. So we turned that off.

They also found an issue with the camera. Even though it was working fine, taking pictures, the diagnostic scan showed a defect. My phone was still under warranty so they replaced the camera. Haven’t had any problems with the battery draining since then.

You should always buy the tool that best meets your needs. Back when I was in the cell phone industry, Motorola phones had the best battery life hands down. But, it's been about five years so I don't know what's available now.
