Can I update the Security for my Wifi under Network in System Preferences under the WiFi tab?

Hi I'm using a Macbook Pro (late 2011) with V.10.13.6 the highest it will go. I wanted to know if there is anyway of me changing my WiFi Security Setting from WPA2 Personal to WPA3 or any other.

If there is a way to do this please let me know.

You always gave me excellent answers in the past and I tried googling information on this but I didn't get the answer. Thank you very much, Also I have an Ipad Mini 6 Using OS15.7 that uses the same wifi if that helps

You need to change it in the router settings. If you don't have instructions for your router, do an internet search for your router brand/model or if your router was supplied by your internet service provider, check their support website.
