I am able to send and receive other text messages but not able to receive the OTP sent by Amazon, which prevents me from logging into my account. Amazon says the OTP text is being generated and sent but do not know why my phone does not receive the text. Is there some new setting in security or what?

Found the solution. Amazon OTP sends text messages using a short number code - anywhere from 3 to 6 digits. If you inadvertantly block one of those numbers, it blocks the OTP texts. I must have done so accidentally when I was blocking the scam emails from "Amazon Driver Chat".

Ask your phone carrier text message is their feature.
If I am able to send/receive other text messages, wouldn't that automatically indicate my phone carrier supports text messages.
