iPad Air 4th gen bootloop, won't update or reset (Error 1403(

Cheers everyone,

my daughters iPad Air 4th gen is now 14 months old. Today she was using it and after lunch she wanted to use it again but it was stuck in a bootloop.

Tried vol up, vol down, power. iPad went off. When pressing power button it will go into recovery mode and get recognized by iTunes but won't reset or update. Error 1403. I also can't get it into DFU mode, tried it dozens of times.

Any ideas? Is it bricked? It is just 14 months old, what a shame....

Perhaps you actually refer to error #4013…?

Yeah, sorry, 4013. But I tried all the points mentioned there, tried it on 3 different computers, 4 different cables. Doesn't work.

Any ideas? Sure it happens just a few weeks after the warranty has run out...
