Return Mac air m2 used

Hi

i bought a new mac air m2 as my old one is five years old.

I went into the shop picked my new Mac air m2 , took it home opened it up and logged in.

I realised slot has changed , no iPods anymore for my iTunes, can’t use my cds anymore , no usb unless I buy extensions .

I only bought a new one because I loved iTunes, downloading my cds etc. I am 61 and disappointed

my question is:

I have opened up the Mac logged in and looked around on it and sent screen saver via my iPad to my Mac. I don’t like it because the features I enjoyed are not there anymore . Can I return it if I have used it? Can I do a factory reset and return it. Thank you

it’s two days old

MacBook Air, 12.6

Quite inexpensive USB-C to USB-A adapters:

As far as CDs, Apple has not made a laptop with CD/DVD slots for years. An inexpensive CD/DVD player options are available most anywhere.
