How to do a restart/reboot with a Magic Keyboard

I used to be able to restart/reboot on my Mac with a CTL-EJECT combination on the keyboard. However, my new Magic keyboard doesn't have an EJECT key. So, how do I do this now?

eject key function? Hi there, So I have the Apple Keyboard (old wired one) and the Magic keyboard (wireless) connected to my iMac pro, touch screen MacBook pro, etc.. I know cmd+option+control and then eject has all sort of functions like restart, shut down... However, is there any function for pressing the Eject key on its own? I don't see any function but worry will there be any side-effect as I occasionally touched it by, wondering how Mac OS (monterey and so on) will see that eject keystroke, will it trigger/ change anything, will it damage my OS, if I see nothing happens does it really mean nothing happens?

Keyboard shortcut to restart m2 macbook air This seems like a ridiculous question to be asking, and I apologize if it's as ridiculous as it seems. Having used Macs continually for 35 years, however, I can't seem to find a simple keycode to restart my new M2 MacBook Air. When I google on the question, I find several instructions to "force" my Mac to restart "without prompting to save any open and unsaved documents" using command-control-power button, but I don't want to "force" anything, I just want a normal restart. I suppose I can get Keyboard Maestro to do this easily enough, but is Apple really not providing a simple keycode for a normal restart?

Press and hold the power button until the screen turns black. Wait a few seconds then press and hold the power button until you see the Apple Logo.

You're welcome. It's different on an M1 MacBook Air. No dialog box. I read an article on restarting an M1 Mac Mini but there was no mention of the dialog box. Can't believe everything you read. 😎
