Troubleshooting Errors After an Update:

I. Troubleshooting a Frozen iPhone:

A. Start with a Force Restart:

Go Here: Force Restart iPhone - Apple Support

B. Try the Tips at these Apple Support Links:

II. Give Apple Feedback:

Do your Part: Provide Apple with feedback on this, letting them know about this issue.  Apple may not get back to you directly, but the more feedback they receive on this, the more they will know what is occurring, and what bug fixes to include in updates to come.

  1. Go Here: Feedback - iPhone - Apple
  2. Select: "Bug Report" for the "Feedback Type"
  3. Comment: that this all began after installing an update. Include the URL of this thread.

Thank you for the photos.

Your screen is damaged. So, have work fix this. If you need to fix this, then get this serviced.

Getting a Mac's Screen Replaced:

Get a M iPhone screen from one of the following three locations. Getting it elsewhere, you might end up getting an non-genuine display.

A. Contact Apple Support:

If purchased from Apple, or covered under AppleCare, then get this serviced by Apple.

  • Contact Us - Choose Locations
  • Proceed from there as necessary
  • Note: Phone calls are taking a bit to go through at the moment, due to lots of calls. And that makes sense because with the Coronavirus Pandemic, many are at home at the moment, with much time on their hands to contact Apple. So, just stay on the line, and you will get through :)

Or..

B. Contact an AASP:

Also, take this to an AASP (Apple Authorized Service provider), asking for assistance.

  1. Go Here: Find Locations - Apple Authorized Reseller
  2. Click: Service & Support
  3. Enter: your location information
  4. See: if there is an AASP nearby
  5. Contact: an AASP that shows up, and find out more about the services that they offer to fix the Mac

Or...

C. Contact A Retailer:

Contact your local retailer, seeing if they replace these.

Going Between Screens:

Close All Apps:

Swipe you finger down from the top-right corner of the screen towards the bottom-center. Then swipe up on all windows that show to close them. Next, try Notes once more. Something is likely running in the background.

Exactly same on my XR, i think its the resolution IOS16 is running at, Apple needs to issue an update on it ASAP, i am just about managing but its v difficult to use, there is no real work around, my scroll doesn't even work...It was the same with IOS 16 beta which i thought they would have sorted for the full release...
