There are no 2G networks left in the USA, and all 3G will be gone by then end of this year. Verizon will be the last to turn theirs off in December.

2G is long dead. 3G will be dead by the end of the year. The only CDMA carriers that were ever supported were Sprint and Verizon. Sprint’s CDMA network is no more and Verizon’s will be completely gone by the end of the year.

Buy a phone in your own country to ensure it is compatible with the cellular carriers there.

Since there are no supported carriers at all in Yemen, there is no way to guarantee that any iphone will be compatible with the carriers there.

You can check the bands that the phone supports using the link posted above, but keep in mind that NO iphone 14 models sold in the US will have a SIM card slot at all, so that’s probably not going to be an option for you.
