I am planning to get iwatch series 8 from USA. Can anyone help me out which model should i get (A2477 or A2478). I heard there are two diff models. One is for Canada, Mexico etc. and other one (i think A2477) which we can use in India as well. Can anyone confirm, which model should i get? Thanks in advance.
There's different models for different regions for cellular usage:
Apple Watch - Models and Carriers - Apple
Apple Watch Series 8 (USA, Canada, Puerto Rico)
Apple Watch Series 8 (China and Hong Kong)
Apple Watch Series 8 (Rest of the world)
You need the A2773 or A2775 if you want it to work in India.
Do note however, those models are not sold in the USA. You can only buy the North America models in the US.

Hey phil, thnx for your prompt response. I have gone thru the link which you have shared for models and carrier’s which was very helpful.
Going thru link, I found there is a minor diff in Band Support in Model A2772 (41 mm) for USA, Canada, etc. and Model A2773 (41 mm) for India. (Screenshots attached)

Which i think if i get Model A2772 (41 mm) from USA, Canada then should work in India as there is minor differences. Can you (Phil) or anyone confirm this?
