Magenta Max Military plans not eligible for the max trade-in offers via Apple Store

I ran into this today trying to purchase an iPhone 14 through apple.com.

I found this post on reddit: https://www.reddit.com/r/tmobile/comments/x9uwg5/meganta_max_military_plans_not_eligible_for_the/

Is this a mistake from Apple, or is the Military Magenta Max plan not valid for the offer that regular Magenta Max is valid for?

Thanks

Thanks for checking on it. I think the issue is between Apple and T-Mobile.

Yes, Magenta Max Military is eligible, but not when you go through apple.com to order and it only works with Magenta Max. See below screen shot. It's like the apple.com method only recognizes "Magenta Max" and not sub-plans of Magenta Max like Military option. The reason that I'm going through apple.com is it is a slightly different promotion than through tmobile.com. But, it appears the apple.com method doesn't work with the military max plan.

Thanks,
