pink-ish tinged screen when awaking 2nd monitor from sleep on Mac Mini 2020

Hi, I get a pink-ish tinge on my 2nd screen when awaking my mac mini 2020 from sleep. It is connected via the USB-C connector on the back of the Mac Mini to a HDMI port on my 2-year old Dell 24" 1080p monitor running at 60hz refresh.

I then put it to sleep again, wait one second, and then re-log back in and the problem is fixed. This happens almost every time. I have tried different connector and it has not improved the problem. What do I need to do to get this working so this doesn't happen?
