Photo Library Naming

We have three photo libraries and often my wife gets fuddled up as to which she should open as the library names only show the full name when moused over. Ex: Ots Library.photoslibrary

I would like to change the names to something simple such as Album One or Album 1.

One in particular is Photosprimary 3/3/18.libphotoslibrary.

We did have some issues earlier on with Aperture/photos migration but either way I simply want simple library names.

If I change the name of the System Library what affect will it have on the Cloud if any?

As always, thank for your time and sharing of knowledge,

Thank you

Quit Photos, if it is running. Then you can simply change the name of your Photos Library in the Finder by clicking the filename in the Finder and typing a new name in. Then launch Photos again. The library will remain your System Photos Library and also the iCloud Photos Library.

But you must not move the library or change the filename extension. The filename extension should remain .photoslibrary .

The next Time Machine backup might be much larger, however, if you rename the library.
