My Apple Watch is connected to my old Apple ID and it won't allow me download app using my new Apple ID ,how do fix this is nerve wracking

I just purchased an Apple Watch yesterday and now it keeps asking me for the password for the old Apple ID whenever I want to download an app from the Watch app on my iPhone. I tried to double check, my Apple Store on the watch indicates that I’ve signed in to the correct Apple ID and lets me download apps, but they then don’t appear on the Watch app on my iPhone. I’ve tried to sign in to the correct Apple ID from the Watch app, and it also lets me do this, but when I want to download an app, it signs me out and keeps asking for the password for an old Apple ID. I don’t have this issue with any other my devices (I use an iPad and a MacBook as well). Is there anything I could do? Thank you!

Unable to pair watch, due to wrong Apple ID username When my phone was set up, the store uses its username to setup my account instead of my account. Now I can no longer access my account
