Software Update prompted me several days ago to update to Monterey 12.6, but I didn’t have time to deal with it then. Today I decided to go ahead with the update, but when I opened Software Update, the dialog says “Your Mac is up to date — macOS Monterey 12.5.1 (21G83)”
Did Apple withdraw the 12.6 update?

From the >About this Mac>Software Update and try again
if necessary you can manually download the full installer—
macOS 12.6 build 21G115 directly from Apples content delivery network

Thanks, a reboot did the trick.
Worst case - Restart in Recovery Mode and choose Reinstall macOS.
This in theory will pull the latest version of Monterey available and commence the installation.
12.6 no longer appears in software update
