Texting

I have one friend that I know has an iPhone. When I text her it goes to the green text but when other friends text her, it’s an iMessage. When we group message, my text messes up the group text and abilities to text as all iPhones. Help. It’s so annoying.

One phone in my chat group sends iMessages when one member is Android Here’s what’s going on. I have a chat group of 7 people. All are iPhone, but 1 person. There is one iPhone person in the group whose iPhone refuses to send out its messages/texts as SMS. im trying to text my aunt individually but its only showing up in the group chat its so annoying and my aunt and i have both deleted each others contacts and the group chat but it just makes a new group chat. Help!

To activate iMessage and FaceTime using your Phone number

First, check to know whether you have an SMS plan enabled at least for One SMS with your carrier. Contact your Carrier (Cellular Service Provider) the agency that issued the SIM to you

If your iPhone is used with a carrier not found in the wireless carrier articles, make sure you can send and receive international SMS. (One SMS Only)

If you can't turn on or sign in to iMessage or FaceTime - Apple ...

Probably iMessage is not activated on your iPhone.
