I bought a bypassd iPhone and used it some days, then I updated it from ios 14.2 to 15.6, then it gone to hello screen, and says " Unable to activate iPhone" what can i do.?

It says it needs an update to activate this iPad, I plugged it into my iTunes on my PC and manually updated it, but after the update, it still brings me to the same "unable to activate" with the reason being I need to update it. mind you I bought this second hand, because as a student that's all I can afford, please I desperately need a fix
