We want to help you change your payment details. Can you tell us more about what you mean by change the payment date?

The Apple Support page you linked can help update your card details:

"How to change your payment method on your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch

1. Open the Settings app.
2. Tap your name.
3. Tap Payment & Shipping. You might be asked to sign in with your Apple ID.
4. From here, you can do these things:

• Add a payment method — Tap Add Payment Method.
• Update a payment method — Tap the payment method, then edit your information. You might need to enter the security code that's printed on your credit or debit card. If you use the card with Apple Pay, go to the Wallet app to edit the card information."

If you're referring to paying your Apple Card balance, use these steps:

"Set up scheduled recurring payments

You can set up recurring payments toward your Apple Card balance and choose the amount and schedule.

1. At card.apple.com, click Payments in the sidebar.
2. Below Set Up Scheduled Payments, click Set Up Now.

If you haven’t added a bank account, you’re asked to enter and confirm a routing number and an account number.

3. Select one of the recurring payment types:

• Pay My Bill: Pay your entire monthly balance on a specific date every month.
• Pay Minimum: Pay the minimum balance on a specific date every month.
• Pay Different Amount: Pay a specific amount weekly, every two weeks, or monthly.

4. Click Next, enter the details of the payment, then click Next again.

5. If you added multiple bank accounts, select the one you want to use.

6. Click Confirm to finish setting up the scheduled recurring payments.

Note: If you need to change the details of a scheduled payment, such as the payment amount, cancel the scheduled payment and create a new one. See View or cancel scheduled payments."
