Hello I’ve been trying to unlock my
sim since the original owner couldn’t unlock the sim well the original is my sister in law and she said she didn’t know how to unlock the sim and she said she had cricket but she doesn’t remember anything her password and username on her cricket account for they can unlock the sim and i don’t know what to do

What exactly is locked then? SIM card lock and iPhone carrier lock are 2 very different things.
Is the SIM card requiring a PUK code to work?
Or is the iPhone not accepting a SIM card form a carrier different from Cricket?
If the sim card is locked with a PUK code, then you need a new sim card.
If that iPhone is locked to Cricket, the only Cricket can unlock it for use with other carriers.
