The Clock and date on the lock screen are very faded despite me setting the colour to pure white. In the preview it looks fine. but as soon as I select it it fades. any suggestions?
yes Iv’e reset, changed fonts and switched dark mode off.

To enable this function, you need to go to Settings > Focus > [select one of the Focus modes] > Options (Parameters) > activate Dim Lock Screen (Darken under the lock)
To disable - do opposite

Ok I recently posted about my Lock Screen clock being very dim, almost nonexistent I looked to see if their were any updates pending. Turns out I needed an update to iOS 16. After downloading the update, the phone restarted after and BAM, my clock was fixed, thank you God!
Thankfully turning the phone off and back on corrected the dim clock issue ony locked screen, it was driving me crazy I tried everything else to correct it. 🙏🙏🙏
i managed to fix mine
push volume up then down and then hold down the power button down until the apple logo appears and when it turns back on it was fixed for me

Starting from your Lock Screen Press the volume up and volume down button fast followed by holding the power button down for about 10 seconds or a few seconds more until you see the apple icon pop up. This will reset your phone and your clock should be returned to normal. Mine was (: I hope this helps!

I restarted my phone and boom it was fixed
Did you try Abraham1987’s fix above and simply turn the phone completely off (not just locked) then back on? That’s what fixed the problem for me. Clock is no longer dim.
yes after switching off and start again it’s work for me i this it’s a glitch in ios16 update if any one has same problem please switch off and start again it’s will work
Restarting my phone totally worked for me. The clock was dim before but after restarting, it’s back to normal!

Force restart helped me to come out of this issue.
press volume up then volume down and then keep holding only power button until you see apple logo appears on the screen.
basically you got to restart or force restart your iPhone. It will solve the problem

Hi, had this problem aswell for a week after my phone overheated, which I think caused this. I know it seems too simple, but all I did was turn my iphone power off and it on just restarting my phone and it was solved. Hope this helps and works for you.
