Buying Iphone 14 from other countries

Hello, I'll be in UK for business reasons and planning to buy Iphone 14 there since its still not available here where I'm from(Philippines). Can someone tell me if there are any cons if you buy apple products in other countries? I've read that warranty is only valid in the country of purchase but not sure if this is still the case today.
