When setting up my iPhone XS near my Wifi box, the iPhone connection changes from LTE to E then to the full wifi symbol after I submit my Wi-Fi password to access the Wifi. Is it normal to see the E symbol on your iPhone before getting WiFi symbols and after showing LTE when there is no problems with WiFi, WiFi box, and cellular service?
I have never seen it but the signal generally weakens a couple of dots when wi-fi is connected.
You have not been hacked.
The LTE symbol may show E if there is an E service in the area, though it is a legacy system.
You have an iPhone, they don't get hacked if you take care nobody knows your Apple ID password or your phone passcode.
But should’ve the iPhone go from LTE straight to the WiFi signal if there is no connection problems because I thought you only see the E when you are not connected to WiFi and when you’re not in an area with strong cellular service?
