Annoying AirPod lost notification, I own

I lend my airpods to my wife for a meeting cause she forgot hers at home. Now I get a notification when I drive with them on my pocket and a notification of her email as owner.

we already remove them from Bluetooth, find my and still getting this on my end.

me and a friend misplaced our airpod pros and i marked mine as lost not thinking to check, how do i tell my phone i found them me and my friend misplaced our airpods because they were both charging in the same outlet. i quickly realized they weren’t mine and reported mine lost not even thinking to check . We found out that we did misplace them but now the notifications will not stop popping up on my phone and it’s making me look like a theif to my own items!! i need help how do i get the notifications to stop

Have your wife remove them from her Apple ID:

iCloud: Remove your device from Find My iPhone

We did remove them from iCloud, find my, Bluetooth on both devices and still getting this message.

This might be an iOS 16 issue, cause the error is not present on my iPad nor my Mac
