iPhone Not Eligible For Trade In.

I’ve had my iphone 11 through US Cellular since 2019. On Sunday I upgraded to iPhone 14 and took my 11 to Apple Store to trade in for gift card. They told me my phone was not eligible and showed me a screen that stated it’s in a national database reported as missing property. It’s never left my possession since I got it in 2019. US Cellular said they did not report it and it is not showing as black listed in their system. How could this have happened? Besides waiting on Checkmend to respond to my inquiry is there anything else I can do? Thank you.

Hi, I am going through the same issue. Last month, I tried getting my iPhone repaired. Repair service was denied because it was reported as missing/stolen. I use Verizon. CheckMend told us that another carrier, Xfinity Mobile, blocked our device.

Were you able to get this resolved? I have contacted Xfinity Mobile many times and they keep telling me it is not blocked on their end. I also have AppleCare on the device and they are refusing to do a repair until the block is removed.
