Disabling the ability for a child to turn on Personal Hotspot

When my child's device is in downtime they can still access the personal hotspot setting and turn it one, using their iphone as access to the internet for other devices such as a laptop etc.

Is there a way to not allow a child to have access to the personal hotpot setting in their phone?

Dynamic hotspot password workaround for downtime As we can’t add hotspot to downtime I was thinking (pls correct me if I’m wrong or if this has already been done, but, on your child’s device create a shortcut which changes the hotspot password everyday to the date or time, a dynamic password, no prompts, it just runs. How do I permanently disable Personal Hotspot on my son's iPhone? My son has an iPhone 15 Pro. I have Screen Time settings enabled, including not allowing cellular data changes. However, he can still toggle on and off his personal hotspot and use it to play games on his school laptop. I called our carrier, T-Mobile, and there is no way for them to disable the Personal Hotspot feature on his device without completely changing the service we have across our family plan (which will disable the hotspot feature for everyone). Any help on figuring out how to prevent access to the Personal Hotspot would be appreciated.

If they don't need it at all, contact your cellular carrier and have them remove that feature from their line.
