i bought a phone and it is locked i need the apple id and the person i got the phone from just completely ghosted me so now its looking like i am at a loss
is there anything i can do to get past this so that i can use the phonoe i paid for..

If you can't reach the previous owner whose ID is on the device and have them go to https://www.icloud.com/find/, erase the device, then remove it from their account, then the device is useless. Apple won't unlock it.
